The pros: The restaurant has one of the best seafood menus in the area, an amazing view of the oceanfront, and live music. Yay! The cons: It's crowded and kind of loud. Boo! Single ladies and gents take note: Catch 31 has a bit of a scene on the weekends.
This cute, relatively new restaurant has a seasonal, Southern menu. All of the food is locally sourced and the Chef/owner not only grows most of his produce, he also raises pigs and sources other meats, fish and vegetables from local farmers and fishermen.
Try the slamming crab and artichoke dip as a starter and one of the restaurant’s many surf and turf dishes as an entrée. This restaurant is also in the downtown Norfolk Area.
This is Kenya's go-to for fish tacos after a day on the beach. It’s a block from one of Virginia Beach’s popular surf spots. Pelon's is a dive that's perfect for lunch; not necessarily the best for dinner.
This is fancier oceanfront dining. The chef is an alum of New York's Le Cirque. The menu is New American with lots of freshly caught seafood offerings.
